actually everything was wonderful, my next choice again in stratford. hotel overlooked garden and the room was well-appointed and spotless. i booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, armchairs and a couch. the place had a quiet atmosphere. the food was delicious, had plenty of options.

Such a great stay at a lovely old and gorgeous hotel with a central location in Stratford, New Zealand. Located just off a beautiful cottage-style garden and in a private residence. - the reasonably large and tidy room had a particularly good bathroom and electric blankets.

I was delighted with the beautiful and tasteful decor throughout the house, which exuded a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The furniture and amenities were carefully chosen, providing both comfort and style. As a senior, I appreciated the attention to detail that made the hotel accessible and comfortable for people of all ages. The well-maintained gardens and the serene ambiance added to the overall charm of the place.

While my stay at the hotel was overall fantastic, I would have loved to have a microwave available during my visit. It would have been convenient to be able to warm up some food or make a quick cup of tea in the comfort of my room.

We absolutely love staying at Regan House whenever we are in Stratford! the breakfasts are simply marvelous, with delicious toast and yogurt for example. the location of the hotel is perfect, as it is close to everything in Stratford. the garden at the property is truly gorgeous, and the on-site restaurant provides a high-class dining experience with beautifully cooked and presented food. We always enjoy the lovely conversations we have while dining there.

Despite the minor road noise and the lack of a microwave, these were hardly noticeable compared to the overall wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Regan House Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in a beautiful character house. The Regan Room at Regan House is absolutely amazing! I felt like I was in my own little paradise with its private garden views and a veranda to relax on. The room had everything I needed, from a comfy couch and dresser to tea and coffee facilities. It was like a home away from home!

Personally, I would have preferred a bigger TV in the room. But hey, that's just me!
